Full course description

This course will take you through an accessibility journey. First, you’ll learn what is accessibility, why it's important, and who is responsible for it. Then you’ll learn about accessibility key terms, like headings, PDF tags, and alternate text. Once you know the key terms, you’ll be ready to apply that knowledge to make your own content accessible and to check if external resources are accessible. We will cover making and verifying content is accessible in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Adobe Acrobat for PDFs; audio and video files; and LMS pages.

This workshop doubles as a tutorial site to keep referencing again and again. Modules 3 and 4 are designed as tutorials with short, specific instructions to make accessibility quick and easy! Module 3 is about making your content accessible and Module 4 is about verifying external resources are accessible.
