Full course description

This course introduces you to the data available in Canvas and offers suggested actions you can take based on that data. You’ll begin the course by reviewing what learning analytics is and how it can inform course design and teaching decisions. You’ll be presented with a model called Sense-Making and Pedagogical Responses, which you can use to guide your learning analytics journey. Once you have the basics down, it will be time to start looking at data available in Canvas. We will review data available in Canvas Analytics, Inspire for Faculty, Canvas quiz analytics, and Canvas Studio Insights. We will wrap up with how you can best ask for students’ feedback through qualitative surveys.
