Full course description
In this course, you will be introduced to the concept of alignment through a course mapping process. Alignment is an essential concept within the Quality Matters Rubric and a strategic way to design your course. It ensures all the essential course elements work together to promote student learning. There’s an easy three-step process to follow: Start with writing measurable learning objectives; then determine how students will demonstrate their mastery of those objectives on an assessment; and finally, plan learning activities and select instructional materials and technology that will support student’s achievement of the objective. We cover each of these steps in detail in each module of the course.
